RIPE FOR HARVEST

Pastor Ayo-Simeon Agbelusi

“Saved to save others” was the mantra our Pastors and teachers imparted when we first believed, fueling our passionate devotion to prayer and the ministry of the Word. This same word remains efficacious and potent if you are willing to diligently engage with it to rescue those around you from perdition.

Hear the word of Christ:

You know the saying, ‘Four months between planting and harvest.’ But I say, wake up and look around. The fields are already ripe for harvest. John 4:35 NLT

We are at a critical juncture, and it is essential to recognize the world’s desperate need for divine truth. Jesus, as the Word of God, must be shared with this dying generation. Are you not aware of the vast harvest that is ripe for the taking? Does it not trouble you that countless souls are slipping into eternal perdition? We must stir ourselves to action, with passion and urgency, to rescue many from the clutches of darkness and usher them into the marvelous light of God. As one who has experienced salvation, the onus is on you to respond. Arise, and participate in the Great Commission. May you prove faithful to God and your generation, in Jesus’ name.

Pray with me: Father, empower your words in my mouth. Use me to bring my friends, neighbors and family members to the knowledge of your will. Deliver my generation from the power of sin in Jesus name.

  1. The harvest is truly ripe. We sell other products for a living, So should we also share the good news of Christ with our generation.
It’s not a burden but a simplistic act that should be done deliberately. We need the spirit of God to work in us.
Father I pray thee for the grace to carry on.
